Visitors can see the capital in the future through the models and drawings displayed at the exhibition.
Numerous high-rise buildings will be built.
The most important agencies of the state and government will be still based in Ba Dinh. Some central agencies will be moved to West Lake and Me Tri in Nam Tu Liem District.
In the next few years Tu Lien Bridge will be built across the Red River, linking Tay Ho District to Dong Anh District. 
Along the banks of the Red River will be parks, cultural facilities and entertainment centers.
It is forecasted that by 2020, Hanoi's population will reach 7.3 to 7.9 million people and 9 million in 2030. In the picture is the new economic center on Pham Hung - Duong Dinh Nghe road.
The central urban area will be expanded from the inner city to the west, the south to the 4th ring road and to the north with Me Linh, Dong Anh, and to the east with Gia Lam and Long Bien. In the photo is the area with the tallest building in Vietnam - Keangnam.
In the urban area, the land devoted to building general schools and kindergartens will be increased. In the mock-up is the Thang Long Highway leading into the city center.

By 2030, the average housing area in the urban area will be at least 30 m2 per person and at least 25 m2 per person in rural areas. The living conditions in the urban areas will be improved. Part of the area in Ha Dong district in the future.
Long Bien district will be also developed strongly. As planned, the area along the Red River in Hanoi will be the home to 97,000 households in the future.
The remaining area will be dedicated to public works and commercial areas.
Along the route from Hanoi to Vinh Phuc, many high-rise buildings will be constructed. 
After the ring road 2 is completed, Xuan La and Xuan Dinh in Tay Ho and Bac Tu Liem district will become large urban areas.
The extended area in the south of the Red River (from Nhue River to Ring Road 4) will be home to new residential areas, modern cultural, commercial, service, and financial centers.
