(HNMO) - At a press conference in Hanoi on February 25, Hanoitourist and Saigontourist offered free tours for international reporters covering the DPRK-USA Summit in Hanoi.

Hanoitourist introduced 5 interesting tours for foreign reporters from February 25 to March 3. The first tour is city tour bus to explore the city in connection with 5 museums. The second tour is exploring the Hanoi Old Quarter with old fashioned cameras. The third tour is for art lovers to visit Vietnam museums. The forth one is enjoying Vietnam’s coffee at the most famous cafes in Hanoi. The last one is free tour to famous attractions in Ninh Binh.
“Due to tight schedule, international reporters need time saving tours but they still can explore interesting things about Hanoi. Free tours must ensure the quality of services to satisfy customers”, said Mr. Phung Quang Thang, Director of Hanoitourist.
Saigontourist also offered 4 free tours for international press during the time of the DPRK-USA Summit including visiting Duong Lam ancient village, exploring Hanoi craft villages, exploring Hanoi Old Quarter and exploring Ha Long Bay.
According to Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the DPRK-USA summit is an significant world-class event. More than 3,000 foreign reporters coming to Vietnam to report on the event as well as social, cultural and tourism aspects in Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general. Thus, this is a golden opportunity to promote Vietnamese tourism and the country’s image to the world.
